Welcome to the Korto Demo

 The demo is designed to showcase Korto’s powerful video understanding capabilities. It highlights how you can transform video content into actionable insights with just a few clicks.  Whether you’re in public safety, media, sports, healtcare, or any industry needing video analysis, Korto provides a versatile solution to meet your needs.

The following steps are also useful to understand what you can do in the demo and what outputs to expect.
 

Step 1: Select Purpose

    •    Input: The first step in using the demo is to select the purpose of your video analysis. You have several options:
    •    Summarize Video Content: This option allows you to generate a concise summary of the video’s content, ideal for quick overviews.
    •    Search by Visual Content within Video: Choose this option if you want to find specific visual elements within a video.
    •    Search by Narration within Video: This option is useful for locating particular spoken words or phrases within a video.
    •    Generate Hashtags for Social Media from Video: Automatically generate relevant hashtags based on the video content, perfect for social media promotion.
    •    Search by Text within Video: If you’re looking to find specific text or subtitles within a video, this option will help you locate it quickly.

Step 2: Select Video

    •    Input: After selecting the purpose, you’ll need to choose the video you want to analyze. The demo provides several sample videos to choose from:
    •    Cooking Video - How to Make Pancakes: A tutorial video where you can test content summarization or search functions.
    •    Soccer Footage - England vs Brazil: Use this to search for specific game events like corner kicks or penalties.
    •    CNN on Current Economic Situation: Perfect for searching within news segments by text or narration.
    •    Valorant Gameplay - First Person Shooter: Analyze gaming footage by visual content or narration.

Step 3: Select Prompt

    •    Input: Depending on the purpose selected, you’ll be able to choose or enter a custom prompt. This is where you can specify exactly what you’re looking to generate or search for:
    •    Custom: Enter your own prompt, such as “Find all instances of ‘pancake flip’ in the video” or “Generate a summary for this news segment.”
    •    Pre-defined Prompts: For certain purposes, you might see pre-defined options like “Corner Kick” or “Penalty Kick,” which streamline your search within sports footage.

Step 4: Generate

    •    Action: Once all inputs are selected, click the Generate button to process your request.
    •    Output: The output will be displayed on the right side of the screen, showing you the result of your query:
    •    Text Output: If you selected summarization or search by narration, the corresponding text will appear here.
    •    Video Output: For visual searches or video output prompts, you will see the relevant video clips or images that match your criteria.

Step 5: See Video

    •    Action: If you want to view the original video after seeing the output, click the See Video button.
    •    Purpose: This allows you to compare the generated output with the original content or continue exploring other parts of the video.
